to relocate and practice in the United Kingdom:-
Applicants are required to take the following
steps in order to be admitted to the roll of
solicitors in England and Wales:
- Apply to the Law Society for a certificate
of eligibility to take the Qualified Lawyers
Transfer Test – fee £400.00.
- Apply
to take the test to one of the test providers – details
are available from the providers with dates
and venues – names and addresses are
found on the Law Society link below to download
all the relevant forms and information.
- Apply to the
Law Society for a standard disclosure from
the Criminal Records Bureau – fee £47.00
- Apply
to the Law Society for admission to the roll
of solicitors – fee £100.00.
